Hej,

I guess you know that my last entry was a joke. The truth is that nobody sends me e-mails (instead of JaneFuck and cumfor3.com). I just wanted to pretend at least for some days that I am popular. Sorry.

Whatever, I promised to give a brief update about my internship at Kraft Foods. After one month I am still very glad because I have great colleagues, interesting and challenging jobs and an office with air conditioner (so wearing suit and tie everyday isn't that hard). That should be enough.

Other news are that the weekend before last one Alex (the Chinese Swedish guy) and Taichi (the Japanese guy) visited me and Da Woon (Korean Girl) last weekend.

Also, I put a lot of pictures like the following (which I took in Glasgow) on my walls but also pictures of my friends ;-)
Finally, as I told you, I will honour the first people I got to know in Sweden. This time: Simon, Sinie and Daniel (the Swedish guys from my first cooridor).

Simon (the left one on the picture)
Unbelievable, but Simon was the first person I met in Sweden. Somehow typical Swedish and somehow not at all. Typical in the sense that he was very unfriendly and often didn't even say "hi" and sometimes (especially when he was drunk) became the party god himself, untypical in the sense that he had long black hair. Strange, but funny guy. ..

Sinie
Sinie has spent most of his life in the corridor, read hundreds of books and was waiting for a job as a teacher. Now he moved to Stockholm, where I visited him already. He is definitely a great guy. Very warmhearted and honest. However, he likes to talk a lot and explain things in such a way that if you haven't listened the first 20 times, you still have at least 10 more chances to do so...

Daniel
Daniel is not so different from Simon. Also waiting for a job as a teacher, also not very communicative (if he isn't drunk) but also very friendly. I'm sure he will become a good teacher...

That's it for today. See ya,
Fabian

Next entry soon...

but before I would like to advise you to do something. Everyday I receive hundreds of e-mail from people visiting my homepage, all expecting my response. I would definitely like to do that. However, as the more intelligent of you will know, I am a very busy person (I even quit sleeping to be able to do half the things I wanted to do). Hence, it is impossible to answer all your e-mails. I suggest the following:
I will separate you into different groups according to the first letter of your Last Name.
Group A-E is allowed to write an e-mail every first week of the month.
Group F-L is allowed to write every second week.
Group M-V every third week.
Group W every day.
Group X,Y,Z is not aloud at all.

Violation will be penalized.

Thanks for your attention. Fabian

Hej my friends,

I am still alive. A lot has happened since I posted my last entry. The most important thing: I have to disappoint you again as I am not able to fulfill my promise to write the big final entry for Sweden. The reason is that all my papers and evidences were stolen out of my car when we (Vanessa and me) parked it in Gothenburg to visit an amusement park. Did you know that the crime rate in Sweden is 20% higher than in USA? After we have been robbed two times already I am beginning to believe these figures…However, Vanessa and me had some very nice days in Sweden and enjoyed the sunshine. Before I will tell you what happened the last days, I would like to point out my announcement at the end of this entry and the new poll (in red) in which I am asking you a very personal question. The results will be published in some weeks.

Ok, here is a brief version of the things which happened the last weeks:

Bremen, my new home:
As I am an intern at Kraft Foods, Bremen will be my new home for the next 6 months. One of the first things I experienced here was a conversation between a bum and an apple (in fact the apple was only speaking in the bum’s imagination). However, some minutes later I had an imagination by myself. A dog was driving a car:

Honestly, Bremen is a very nice city. If you have the chance you should come over and I can provide accomodation.

The NERD Planet:
Nerds are "technical bright but socially inept persons". They usually are wild-haired and have thick-lense glasses. Many people don't know these people exist, since they usually are only to be found in dark computer rooms, eating pizza and telling jokes nobody understands, for instance like this one: "If binary digits are bits, then decimal ones could be dits, and when things get weary, try something less dreary, like playing with trinary tits." (I'm glad I don't understand this joke...).

However, seeing some nerds walking around in Bremen centralstation I became curious about the reasons they had left their pc. After following some nerds for a couple of minutes I realized there was some kind of nest nearby. It was an exhibition called "Robo-Cup" where robots play soccer and similar things against each other.
You can imagine that it was very strange for me when I suddenly was surrounded by those people. However, I learned a lot from them, e.g. that robots like the one on the picture are going to beat the world champion in 2050. At first I didn't believe it but then I thought of Italy, and I guess even the Sony Dogs could beat them...

The Korean Invasion:
Beside Germans I think Koreans are probably the most enthusiastic soccer fans. I had the luck to be able to watch Korea against Switzerland in Hannover (although not in the stadium) with 5 korean girls who were also staying in my place in Bremen for some time (although they spent most of the time in the bathroom). At every moment a korean player touched the ball (even if he was defense player and miles away from the opposite goal) the girls screemed unimaginable loud. Great experience! On the picture below you can see Eunhee, Ara, Gowonaaaa and Nariaaaa (from left). Sunyoung is the girl with glasses and the incredible big smile in the middle on the other picture. From my point of view everyone should have a korean friend!

Finally, I also started my internship at Kraft Foods, but I will tell you more details next time.
Before I finish I have to make an important announcement:

As I am sitting in my room alone at the moment and hearing sad music, I am thinking about all the people I got to know last semester. I realized that I didn’t really mention a lot about them in this blog, although they were the most important part why I enjoyed Sweden so much. Therefore, I will dedicate the last part of the following entries to friends with whom I shared something special. The order will be more or less chronologically. I know this is dangerous since there is always the possibility that I forget someone but I hope I don't. You can also comment on my dedication under the articles.

Tack sa mycket. Varsagod.

Fabian
